I must compliment you on the knife you made me as a present when you hunted here with us in 2008. I was so impressed with the looks of the knife that I never wanted to use it out in the hunting area. I get a little sentimental about things like that. But after I saw you in Dallas this year and you hammered me on using the knife I decided to take the chance. During my last 21 day hunt I decided to use the knife when we had to skin a Giraffe Bull we shot on a property bordering Kruger National Park. Any one who has ever skinned a Giraffe will tell you that this is no easy task for any knife. I can honestly say that we used that knife for 8 hours skinning the Giraffe and not once did I need to sharpen it again. Sure it did need some fine tuning after the skinning was done but during the process it just stayed as good as the first time the blade hit that skin. Well done my friend and thanks a lot for the great present!!

Nothing is more frustrating than to have to stop and sharpen your knife right in the middle of field dressing a large game animal. I have been very impressed with Tony's knife's ability to hold an edge. I can dress out a feral hog without interruption and still have a usable edge when I'm done. Tony's knives are not only incredible pieces of art and workmanship, they are extremely functional. I am very impressed!

Thanks to a really good and long time friend....Mr. Ralph Robertson who sent me one of your knives.....I can say I have a knife that will last me for the rest of my life.

Let me start by saying, if you are a diehard outdoorsman who is looking for the perfect hunting or just all round good blade, then hear my story. I recently purchased a knife from Tony Baker to take on a hunting trip to Nebraska for Mule Deer. I used to have to sharpen my ol' Buck knife at least twice before I could get through one whitetail! With that being said, I knew field dressing and skinning a large Mule Deer was going to be a problem for me if I was successful on my hunt. Not only was I successful on my hunt, ( 1 large mule deer buck about 185 lbs and one doe about 140 ) I had no problem skinning and quartering both animals to bring back to Texas! And, two weeks afterwards ( without sharpening ) killed a doe in Texas and still had enough edge on my blade to field dress her!! What else can I say but, impressive! It’s not often you get knife that not only looks good, but performs even better!! Thanks Tony , for what I would the best hunting knife I personally have ever used!!!
